Knit It is developed by Mammoth Studio (individual entrepreneur Pavel Kuzin, the "Service Provider") as a Freemium mobile application for iOS and Android. This service is provided "AS IS". This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information for anyone who uses the Knit It app (the "Application").
By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. The information we collect is used for providing and improving the Application. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and UseThe Application stores the knitting projects and preferences you create on your device. To operate and improve the app, and to deliver its subscription features, the Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you — such as your device model, operating system version, a resettable advertising or install identifier, IP address, and app-usage events. This information is processed to provide analytics, attribution, crash diagnostics, remote configuration, and subscription management.
Tutorials ServiceKnitting tutorials shown in the Application are served from Mammoth Studio's own tutorials API (mmthstudio.com/api/knitting/v1/). Requesting a tutorial transmits standard request metadata (such as your IP address and the requested content) to that server so it can return the content; it is a first-party service operated by the Service Provider and does not sell your data.
Third-Party ServicesThe Application uses the third-party services listed below, each with its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:
Whenever you use the Application, in the event of an error we and our third-party providers may collect Log Data on your device. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app, the time and date of your use, and other diagnostic statistics.
Service ProvidersWe may employ the third-party companies listed above to facilitate the Application, to provide it on our behalf, to perform Application-related services, or to help us analyse how it is used. These third parties have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
SecurityWe value your trust in providing us your information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Remember, however, that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Links to Other SitesThe Application may contain links to other sites. If you click a third-party link you will be directed to that site, which we do not operate. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of those websites; we have no control over and assume no responsibility for their content or practices.
Children's PrivacyThe Application does not address anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete it from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take the necessary action.
Changes to This Privacy PolicyWe may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes; we will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
This privacy policy is effective as of 14 July 2026.
